Hesston Field Queen 7655 | Picture made by MMaarten

The very first Hesston Field Queen 7655 in Belgium ! Nestor Van Holderbeke was clearly a good customer at Max Buyck in Anzegem. Besides brands such as Lely, Schlüter and Leyland, Buyck also sold Field Queen harvesters. But he was allowed to sell Belgium's very first Hesston Field Queen 7655 to former contract worker Nestor Van Holderbeke, who still lived in Oostwinkel at the time. Sometime in the mid-70s, Nestor bought this machine and a Field Queen delegation was even sent from America to rural Oostwinkel to operate the first FQ on Belgian soil. Nestor soon had a lot of work for his revolutionary machine, as he even managed to get work in Veurne (B), 70 km away, because there was no supply of self-propelled harvesters there. They went there for two weeks and then stayed to serve the farmers. More pictures and facts can be found on http://www.deoudedoos.be ! You can find more on http://www.deoudedoos.be
