Photo of a tyleen 5.5"" drag hose that is worn out. In canada where I worked they used a tyleen hose for the first 2 years. As you can see, it is worn out because it is quite thin at the bottom and top. Because this hose doesn't roll so easy you pull faster ridges in the loop of the hose than with a soft hose. After this they also switched to a 6 inch soft drag hose.
