Schlüter Meerdere van Schluterfan

Schlüter Meerdere | Picture made by Schluterfan

One of the many beautiful photos from the Photo book "Schlüter Classic", based on Manfred Hierhager. This photo is a nice proof that Schlüter liked to be close to his customers. The 5 Schlüters were picked up here at the factory by their proud owners assisted by the dealers from whom the tractors were ordered. Apparently, although I don't know if that was also done at the last time, the traders and the owners would first eat at a restaurant before they went to pick up their tractor, to celebrate the purchase. In good times, photos were also taken of this and the owners were given them home afterwards. On the far right Herr Schlüter himself, and 3rd from left Herr Leutner, the former Chief Engineer. From left to right, Super 1500TVL, Compact 1350TV6-LS, Compact 1050V6, Compact 1250TV6 and another Super 1500TVL. Manfred, still a specialist in the field schlüter, had once asked on the Schlüterforum about errors that were in the book. I found a small error in the text that accompanied this photo. However, Manfred described the Compact 1250TV6 as 1050. It might as well be a typo, but I reported this to him and got the answer that he was pleased to see that he was not the only one who went so far in studying old photos and had a lot of respect for them. The reason I came to this was that the only external difference between the 1050, 1250 and 1350 is the exhaust and / or possibly the air filter. With the 1050 you have a long exhaust tube with a short muffler underneath. With the 1250 you have the short exhaust tube with a long muffler underneath, and with a 1350 you have the same exhaust as the 1250, but with the air filter tube next to it. Also worth mentioning, since many types of Schlüter were often built in small scale, some tractors can still be recognized on old photos today. For example, the Compact 1350TV6-LS, 2nd tractor from the left, can still be found today in the vicinity of Freising, and can even be seen in action on the field days. And it's even on Tractorfan! ==> https://www.tractorfan.nl/picture/793580/type/12472/ Photo: Schlüter Classic, Manfred Hierhager.
