So dear er im Jugoslawien! Or about! In sweltering heat of 34 degrees, the 5000, then still in its first form with the exhausts, ran straight through the bonnet, for a 15 meter wide disc dough. With the question what the largest tool was in the area at the time, they got 2 disc harrows of 7.5 meters, which they just put next to each other ... The tests showed that the 5000 initially lost power. Something against the expectations I think for Team Schlüter, because the MAN engine is almost a completely closed V12, which was originally built for an output of 1200 hp. The problem seemed to lie with the exhaust collectors, or their structure. The solution was to place the exhausts on both sides of the bonnet. Apparently this solution must have brought about something, because since then Schlüter has built the exhaust diagonally in front of the cab on all Supers and Compacts, to also improve visibility. Why they didn't do this with the Super Trac's and other Profi Trac's I don't know. The Profi Trac's did well in the former Yugoslavia, because Tito had an order placed of 7 Profi Trac 5000TVL's! However, due to his death in 1980, this order was cancelled... Politicians preferred that the population bought something from their own country, which also disrupted later orders. Nevertheless, at the end of the 80s Schlüter was still able to supply a whole fleet of Schlüters, not Profi Trac's, but mostly Supers, including the currently coveted Super 1900TVL-LS Special. A Super Trac 2200TVL-LS and a Euro Trac also found their way there.
