One of the last real Super 1500TVL's at work, on a field day in Unna! Schlüter's price list always included a fairly long list of options. This 1500 has an option that you rarely see. Some even take them off, because they don't think it's sight... The option I'm talking about is the "Corn Gritter". This is a different grille at the front and on the side of the bonnet. This grid was folded in such a way that the tractor got extra cooling during heavy work. That option was checked in some cases, if the buyer also wanted the so-called "Rüfa" on his tractor. Rüfa is better known as Ruckfahrteinrichtung, so the entire dashboard, steering column and seat could be rotated 180°. The Rüfa option often also included a windscreen wiper on the rear window. The Maisgitter was then an option that was often chosen by people who had the intention to chop with their tractor. This way, the grid was less likely to have to be cleaned during chopping. You have to do something in the 70s and 80s, times when the Cleanfix did not yet exist.... This 1500 has both the Rüfa, rear windscreen wiper and the Corn gitter! The Drülu (air brakes) and front linkage made it almost multifunctional at that time!
