53 machines at our Retro Harvest Day on Sept. 23, we tried our hardest. Unfortunately, we didn't really have the weather gods with us at the time. Among all those machines were some unique pieces, this self-propelled beet harvester is definitely one of them. A rare piece of equipment, because only one was built. Built by contractor Jan Martens from Aartrijke (B). Built not only to be useful during the beet harvest, the harvester could also be converted into a chopper. The machine has an extendable bunker and could be converted from corn to beet in one night. Find more at http://www.deoudedoos.be
