M.A.N Schlüter! If you were looking for a tractor of about 130 hp at Schlüter in the early 90s, you could choose from 7 types! 5 of them were with M.A.N engine, and 2 still with a real Schlüter in it, the Super 1250VL Special or VL-LS Special. And apparently the buyers were keen to drive a real Schlüter, because the 1250's remained a bestseller until almost the last gasp! The other 5 types were in the form of Compact 1350TV6 or TV6-LS, Super 1300 or 1400 with or without LS (depending on year of construction...) and Euro Trac 1300 or 1400LS. In the picture is a load-switched Super 1300 with M.A.N turbo 6 cylinder engine block in it. Really only 3 of them built. There was also a regular 1300 without load switching out of the factory and a 1300 as a regular LS, without the addition TVL. The successor of the 5 1300's were the 1400's, with standard Load switching. Of these, 6 walked off the "band", until the doors closed. As far as I remember, even the Super series 1300, 1400, 1600, 1700, 1900 and 2000 with M.A.N engines were not even printed leaflets, despite the fact that these tractors were still available in a period of about 2 years. All these tractors were built in such a small edition that there was no longer any question of "series" production. Despite the enormous rarity of those types, I have already been able to admire 1 or even several of them, and are even still employed. Photo taken in 2017, on the Feldvorführung in hometown Freising.
