Schlüter Compact 750 | Picture made by Schluterfan

Schlüter Zukunft? In times when Schlüter's were not so expensive, some restorations sometimes got out of hand, not in terms of originality, but how the owner in question saw Schlüter in the future... That is no different with this one. Almost 10 years ago I came across this "Compact 1550 TV4" at a meeting in Danube. Under the skin, the tractor is actually a Compact 750V, originally even the export version of it, Compact E4000V. The original 3 cylinder made way for a 155hp strong MAN 4 cylinder turbo engine. The tractor got a front loader, the air brake boilers the owner strangely enough also got under the hood, which got incorporated lights like a Euro Trac. A bit crazy, but also the fenders front and rear got the tractor fitted as if they came directly from the very first prototype of the Euro Trac, which already saw the light of day in the winter of 87-88 (the effective prototyp as we know it was only presented in 1989). The cab was also overhauled, what Schlüter drivers know from the first hour is the black dashboard that is covered with a kind of vinyl. Here is a part of the vinyl exchanged for fake wood. The shift levers were also no longer the typical round spheres, but something modern that seemed to come out of a truck. With the windscreen you could drive open, which disappeared into the roof, a bit like an excavator. Afterwards also this tractor nowhere seen ... Photo from 2011.
