Photo of a Fendt Favorit 4S with a Taarup chopper. Photo taken in 1971 by the IMAG from Wageningen in Bergen. Presumably this was on a corn chopped moth. This combination was built by my father who you also see sitting here on the goat together with a former employee. The 4s was bought new in 1970 at the Vor in Achterveld. Later, a real self-propelled rider was built from the Taarup part with a Daf engine as the basis and the driving part of a combine. Actually the forerunner of the kaweco that later came on the market and was purchased here in 1974 new.
