March 24, 2016 John Deere 6330 planting potatoes. The neighbor has a Baselier front cutter, we have a miedema planter and together we have a row cutter. In front of the row cutter (not in the photo) is a tractor of ours and in front of the planter is a tractor from the neighbor. This way we do not have to hang the machines all the time and we can take turns planting a piece of potatoes. Our neighbors are very flexible in their planning and when I need them (or vice versa) they are always there. The neighbor drives John-Deere. This tractor has had rtk-gps for a long time. I think from 2007. I was very happy with this investment and immediately saw the benefits of the GPS. It is a nice trigger to plant potatoes with. The lifting capacity of the 4-cylinders is not sufficient for a full planter, but then you do not fill the bunker completely. The engine power is sufficient on our light ground. In the background is our Deutz 6206 with Mullie tipper for the supply of seed potatoes. The tipper is placed on cubes, so that it can unload directly into the planter's bunker.
