I didn't have time for that anymore, so I bought a handtacle and hung the whole thing on the top façade. The middle part of the machine is a standard Steketee Maxisprint built in 2006, purchased in 2016. The wheelset is self-built with a cylinder with pressure-controlled non-return valve. These eggs tend to come out of the ground at heavier spots in the plot and in lighter spots they fill up with sand. With the newer types, you can therefore hydraulically control the depth of the teeth, the rubbing plates and / or the rollers from the cab. Arable farmers with such an older machine often control the depth with the lift. With the hydraulic top rod could also be, but that is often not so convenient, because you can easily pull it too short. I made the drawbar myself. The harrow is pulled by the harrow that runs in front of it and hangs in the redesign. The height of the towbar is then a fixed fact. In order to be able to lift the teeth out of the ground in the light spots, I put two single-acting cylinders in it. I adjust the harrow to the heaviest part of the plot and then lift the front of the harrow from the ground as needed in the lighter places. The tricycle that usually stands in front of these eggs does not have a GPS. The working speed is often around 13 km per hour, so I don't have time to look back much. Also, it is often 1 large dust cloud behind me. I don't see anything. I then adjust the depth of the harrow to the hearing. When the trigger drops in revs, I know that the ground is light and that I have to lift the harrow a bit. This works very well Usually the land is ready for sowing in 1 pass. Drawbar and wheelset are removable with 2 people within 10 minutes. The standard machine then remains.
