Autumn is quietly making its way here by now, radishes are one of the last crops we harvest here. nice yield. A challenging crop to harvest, difficult to get out of the pods. I work with a so called pod rollers for feeding, breaking the pods. Beforehand I sprayed the radish that had grown 1.5m high with 3l Reglone and 1.5L uptake oil and 500L water. After drying, we process the seed and it often goes in transport boxes with air freight to the Netherlands. In Holland germination/emergence and variety purity tests are done and then it is ready to be delivered to gardeners in Europe.
