April 3, 2021 photo of a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 6.15 with Mullie T14 tipper and underslot. If you buy good stuff you can use it for a long time. Usually you only know afterwards if something is good, of course, but with this combination we have been very lucky so far. In retrospect, the oil pump of this tractor could have been a little larger and the tipper a little wider, but by and large both have been fine for years. We haven't written off much on the trailer in 20 years. (It cost 21 years ago, I think something like 45,000 guilders (20,000 euros)). What is it still worth now? The tractor is worth a bit more I think. From I think 35,000 to I think 8,000 euros in 9,000 hours with us. Here it is on the spray track on the front headland when planting potatoes. We drove the planting alone with this combination, then you don't take a lot of time to fill once nice and quiet (plot 8km from home), but it worked out rather well. The plot was 15 hectares. At 10:30 the first potato went in. The first cart of potatoes with 12,500 kg was empty at 17:30, then the driver of the planter went home for a hot meal and someone else could fill the cart. The cart was half empty again in the evening, I made sure it was full in the morning at 6:45 a.m. and when the planter driver drove the headland lines with GPS at 11:30 a.m., I quickly picked up the last 5 boxes. Total 64 km. Because I don't like unnecessary standing still while planting, I drove on a bit. This tractor had never been in front of this cart before and I was a little afraid that it would sink quite a bit on the dike slopes here. But that fear was unwarranted. What power is still in that 6-liter little block💪! I didn't measure the fuel consumption but I was impressed with the control the tractor has over the cart. It tows it much harder than the Fiat 1180 and I would like to put it next to the 120 mk3 sometime, I am sure the difference is small. However, the whole right side of the hood was covered in soot splatter coming out of the exhaust and we need to see if the horizontal suspension of the seat can be repaired.
