April 24 Photo of a miedema cistern (44 years) and miedema hall filler (20 years) waiting for the truck. Both machines talk to each other (linecontrol). If 1 of both machines fails, they both stop. We fill this cistern with the bucket on the telehandler or on the forklift. In this case, we will deliver fries potatoes to the LWM factory in Bergen op Zoom. Bakker Texel (AB) arranges the transport. If we are busy, we let the trucks come every 3 quarters of an hour. Now it was quiet and then we let them come every hour. Then you have a little more time to clean up, drink coffee and make small repairs. If you scoop with a forklift and a telehandler you can load a load full in 30 minutes, but then you have to be with two people. The hall filler is arranged in such a way that when it is retracted, the door can be closed and extended can fill the truck outside the shed. There's not much soil in it, so we just drop that on the ground and scoop it onto a cart if there's too much lying around at some point. When sanding out, we open the shutters and let 1 fan turn backwards, so that the dust and smoke are extracted a bit. This cell is about 1,400 tons, but we often put it in half for two different breeds.
