An annual tradition in our village Mheer is to go and get a May-Den on the 1st Saturday of May in the upper forest in Epen. This Pine symbolizes fertility. This tree is traditionally harvested every year with about 20 Belgian draft horses. However, on 1 part of the route my tractor is allowed to serve, because on this part of the route the road is too narrow and the risks are too great for damage.
