Photo of an Avr Mistral with the reel in the background. It is so dry here that the reels have to be on to harvest the potatoes without damage. Due to the drought, the clods on top have become bunker hard, damaging the potatoes. Also, because of the drought, no loose soil can be kept on the mat, which also damages the potatoes. Throwing 15mm of water on them with the reel makes harvesting go beautifully This picture shows the vr808 that will end up in the chips bag around April/May.
