Because I do not like to pick up the tractors and changing wheels is not one of the favorite activities, we have a few more tractors than is strictly necessary on our acreage. This tractor is often in front of the team for a long time in the autumn. We often only plough a hundred hectares, of which we also do about 20 with the Rumptstad plough. This tractor preferably does not go for a cart, in order to save the tires a bit to keep sufficient tread to plow for as long as possible. Under normal circumstances, a 5-scissors would also fit, but if it is greasy we sometimes take off a pair of scissors and then drive with 3 scissors. I think we will do that less in the future, because it is better to leave the team in the barn and then later - in the spring - just toss instead of plowing. Here he is ready to plow freshly harvested beet land and then sow winter wheat in it. We started that day and plowed and sown an acre or 1.5, so that we could finish the 6.5-acre plot the next day when it was light. If we would have started at 7 o'clock in the morning, the last course of sowing is often just in the dark. I don't think that works very well.
