Construction of the 2nd railway line Purmerend-Avenhorn 1986. Sand supply was with Henschel & MAN 6x6 torpedo car tippers from canal quay Purmerend at funnel van Van Vliet. If you zoom in, you will see a Henschel coming behind the tractor. The investments in machines/tractors and buildings had been at a very high level since 1984, after which my Pa got "out of work" due to what you now call a heavy burnout. But not stopped. Individual work that he could do on his own still went well for him. Especially with this water ride you can avert your thoughts. I took the photos myself with a large telephoto lens with which Pa had no knowledge of the shots. this of course makes the photos even more beautiful.
