John Deere 4630 | Picture made by mdoornekamp

Photo of a John Deere 4630. Cultivating/ pulling dad off with our 4630. Tractor was still almost new so must have been around 1979. The Tractor was bought at the time as an over-aged model from Louis Nagel. This land was ploughed about 1 m deep with the 4630 and 4040 together for a 1 scissors. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of that. At the back of the 4630 double air with Molcon 5 star. The one on the right had been demolished with teams. 7 star didn't exist yet. At the front of the 4630 an extra frame so that 2 rows of weights could handle and also a solid towing eye that the 4040 pulled on. Here dad is making the ploughed land a bit fine and flat. The soil chunks were very uneven with coarse bumps and holes in the clay soil after plowing.
