New Holland TL 100 van DANOONTJE POWERR

New Holland TL 100 | Picture made by DANOONTJE POWERR

Photo of a New Holland TL 100 working on straw decks. Nice weather, nice work. Here we planted "bare scale" of lilies. Lily bulbs consist of 20 to 30 scales that are broken down from the bulb flowers. New balls then grow on this fracture surface. This can be wrapped in the storage cell in, for example, potting soil or vermiculite or bare in the soil. These scales have been in the ground for more than a year and a half now, this season almost nothing comes above the ground. At most some leaves at the end of the summer. That is why we put straw in here as a dust control, paper dissolves too quickly. Next year, the bulbs that have arisen on the scales will then grow into a lot of planting material that we will continue to grow with.
