17 March 2022 Photo of a New Holland T7.190 with Kverneland EG 100 4-scissor plough. We are in the middle of the period of spring ploughing. Often we drive manure first, wait 3 days (otherwise your tractor stinks like that) and then start plowing. After plowing, the trick is to work the soil before it dries out too quickly. On this plot we have hedged about 1.5 hectares in a strange shape at the back immediately after ploughing. Then we immediately laid out the back hectare square ready to plant liatris. That's what we did right away. A day later it had dried so much that we hit the rest of the plot with the tricycle. The eg combination was still behind it. We did all the teeth from there to the top, so that he only walked on the rollers and leveling plates. This was the team combination of my father-in-law and the permanent employee, but last week there were already 5 different drivers (on 2 plots of 5 hectares). The week before last week we also drove it, which was the first plot since upgrading from 3G to 4G from the GPS. This did not go completely smoothly. In the end we spent about 7 hours frolicking with it before everything went smoothly again. Fortunately, the weather was nice and they did not give off any rain. This week I hope that they will come and fertilize the last un ploughed plot with pig slurry, so that we can also plow that, after which probably the woeler can get there for an nkg plot of potatoes.
