April 16, 2022 Photo of a Fiat 880/5 with Bauer E51 irrigation reel. Before Easter all tulips but just wet thrown. For the first time with headland sprayer. Then you do not need a trek transversely on the headland and with such longitudinal ends (500 m) it is then only 3 pulls. In principle, we give at least 20 mm at a time. I then set the reel and if, as here, it threatens to come in at 02:00, I just slow it down a bit. In this case, arrive at 07:00. That seemed better for my night's sleep. In this way, this pull gets 25 mm. The reel is easy to set up, also the extra programs with pre-irrigation and pieces of more or less watering. The computer also calculates very fast. Pulling out is done with the T7.190 with the all-wheel drive on. We start at 3.5 km per hour and go a step slower every time the windings on the reel get smaller until we drive 1.7 km per hour at the end. When we drive faster, it makes a lot of noise and the brake starts to stink. The first trek at commissioning we entered at 150 meters per hour. Then the whole machine whines quite a bit and you give about 5.5 mm water at full width with a 28 mm nozzle. For the first time a hydraulic outrigger and hydraulic turning of the drum. I like that. Moving with this machine is a piece of cake. The hose is a 120-600 600 meters long and 120 mm thick. According to the tables, it has as much capacity as our other reel, the Ocmis 110-450. The pump is 1,000 m away. It pumps at 12 bar. Here 7.5 bar remains at the reel. At the cannon you still have 3.5 bar. That is a nice distribution at 80 m working width in windless weather. Because it often blows just too much (we only stop it at wind force 4) we track a 40 meters every time. So here we do spray track 1, 2 and 4 and next time we do 1, 3 and 4. An alternative is narrower spraying, larger supply hoses and larger reel, so that you have more working width, or dragging between 2 spray tracks on narrow straps. We don't do any of this. We do everything the same as much as possible, so that everyone learns it easily and we can easily take over from each other. (Especially easy at night). For now, the Fiat is in front of it, but it is not really oversized and also has no brake valve and lesser working lights. I think this will be the permanent work of the Agrotron 6.15, but it was still standing in front of the seed potato tipper.
