Beautiful picture of 3 generations posing for the tractor. This is on the veranda at home with the driver of project 'Ulugbek' Samarkand region in Uzbekistan. All Same 'tracktorists' always took their tractor home after work to make sure nothing was stolen in the 'tracktorpark'. This is the large assembly point per Sovchoz/Kolkhoz where all trucks, buses, tractors and tools are stored and maintained. Fenced with heavy fencing and 24 hour security. But the danger lies in fellow drivers who come there. Suddenly a batch of Western equipment, everyone wants to take a souvenir of that. The machines remained in the park, why you regularly saw Ladas driving with 'Lemken', 'Amac' or 'Cebeco' stickers on it. Of the 3 project countries, I always preferred to be in Uzbekistan because of the warm receptions, at home with the drivers with their family and friends. I was never allowed to tell that to their superiors because otherwise they had 'lost' me because the bosses would invite me to parties in the evening. I succeeded, because I only had to experience such a 'boss party' 1x. 😂
