21-4-2022 Photo of a Renault 75.12 LS with Vicon/self-propelled liatris seeder. Just a test seeding. We have a self-built seeder behind the rotary harrow. We built it to be able to sow in the full field. Our example at the time was this machine. Disadvantages of this Vicon then we found the tracks you make every 1.5 m. We first considered hanging 2 such Vicons next to each other, but finally opted for a completely different concept. The old machine still existed and also still sows a few days every year. Emergence is always a difficult issue with liatris. Of course we try all kinds of things and now we actually want to see if the seeder or way of seeding makes a difference. We have used different seeders as well as different seed amounts. Because there is no GPS on this Renault, I drove tracks with the DF Agrotron 85 beforehand.
