Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 6.15 | Picture made by PieterA

August 22, 2022 Photo of a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 6.15. As far as we are concerned, the onion harvest is almost over. The neighbor helped us and we help the neighbor. This was combination number 4. The empty weight is 11,200 (5 tons for the cart and 5,200 kg for the tractor I estimate). The neighbor drives with 3 carts (of which 1 combination of us) and we drive with 4 carts (1 combination of the neighbor and 1 rented cart of the other neighbor.) Unfortunately, I don't have everything in the picture. We take the onions to an exporter and tip them there in the cistern. The front window of the tractor is open, because there is a short circuit in the air conditioning somewhere (take a look at it next winter). It is then important to keep your rear window tightly closed, otherwise you have a decent wind (and flies) in the cabin at full throttle. The advance of the tipper is dirt from oil and dust. Earlier in the day, a brake hose snapped; we immediately had it re-pressed. We had to go 6 km by road and that every hour 2x. It didn't seem responsible to me to drive on without a brake on the tipper. On this cart and our other cart goes up to 13 tons of onions. On the carts of the neighbors sometimes up to 16 tons. This way you put about 50 tons of onions in boxes every hour. The Amac E2 charger has less trouble with that than the VHM boxfilr. That is mainly because there is much less electronics on the Amac E2. I think the trigger was once again in its element; after a while for the reel tuttering now a few days to show the muscles. For by road we have better alternatives nowadays, but on the field under the Amac charger it has a good flexibility. It picks up quickly from low tours, steers razor sharp and shifts are just for fun, so smooth that it goes.
