Every year you think: 'This year we won't see many old harvesters at work'. Yet we always find an old harvester to see at work, or we pay a visit to an old harvester that we have seen at work before. The latter was the case with this harvester. My colleague Davy had already seen the New Holland 2405 of this farmer's family at work, so it was high time I also went to take a look at this handsome chopper. Every year around the corn harvest, I'm as happy as a little kid to see harvesters again. To me there is something magical about seeing those harvesters at work. Every year it also starts earlier and earlier, for example the previous corn campaign (2022) started somewhere in the second half of August and you sometimes had to stretch to get somewhere in time. When I get to this chopper, they were moving forward like an express train. With three discharge combinations, it couldn't be any different.
