Closer to home this little one couldn't be.... An Italian S350 briefly returned to where it once saw the light of day after more than 50 years.... Just before our return trip, my fellow traveler wanted a jar of choco from a certain German brand to take home.... apparently Germans can make those too, he remembered from a trip or something. Doesn't matter to me, he his pot of choco, I took home Weihenstephan beer, not to drink, but for in the display case, as a souvenir. Weihenstephan owns, among other things, the former Gut Schlüterhof, so the fact that the name appears in Schlüter history is not insurmountable. No better place, we thought, to get it in the former Schlüter factory, which is now a shopping center. By the way, the night before I had had a beer there together with TF'er @Schlüterman. The former Porter House is now a café, aptly named "Bar am Schlüter".... . The shopping center was named "Schlüter Hallen". There are references enough to see that tractors were once built here, right down to the Burger King...! We were not the only ones who went to what is surely a "sacred" place for Schlüter fans before our return trip. The Italians also came to greet us. Like us, they also had a long journey ahead of them! Photo again from 2013...!
