To easily access the various filters, it is necessary to take off the right rear wheel. I asked the mechanic working on it to put a used 900 tire on a used rim. That way I was able to fit it last night. The rim and tire run just 3 inches clear everywhere. I have thought about Martijn. With his plow tires on heavy soil, he would get rolling with so little space. It would have to be a little wider for a little more room, but they are fixed rims so I'll leave it that way. In spring the ground doesn't stick and when it gets wet the ground here turns into pudding, so the wheels won't get any bigger either. So I will try it first. I think the tires are centered at 1.98 meters. The total width of the tractor is then 2.84 (tires are 86 cm wide). I looked between the fenders of the 6185 TTV. The cab suspension is slightly different, but I'm confident the tires will fit that tractor that way too. Today I will have the tire taken off again and get the rims home for sanding and painting.
