Photo of a Claeys Combine Today I was at maltery De Zwaen At Hoek en Bos in Kloosterzande On the wall in the Cantine is this picture. In the picture we are a Claeys combine threshing barley , which is assisted by a Porsche or Algier tractor. Behind that tractor hangs a wagon where the combine unloads its barley, on the back are 2 small grain scrapers so that they could put the barley in bags. This was in the transition phase from bagged to loose. The same truck was used for years by a dairy farm in my neighborhood. They used it to store part of their concentrate. That's why I posted the photo: I recognized the wagon behind the tractor. In the background we also see the Maltings .
