March 30, 2023. Photo of a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 6185. Today I mounted the last parts of the GPS of the Doggen nose wheel. Tested it immediately and it goes like a dream, even on uneven terrain at high speed (15 km/h). I also adjusted the maximum speed to 50 km/h. That was also mentioned on the license plate. First we wanted to set it to 44 (40 + 10%); so we set it to 40 with a smaller wheel configuration. It didn't take this, because it automatically takes the GPS speed. Made another step above the toolbox and a handle on the roof yesterday to make it a little easier to take the GPS ball off to put in the safe. Also missing was a support for the balls and clips; I welded those myself as well and mounted them to the left fender. There are still several missing parts that we stipulated when we bought it, but are slow to deliver, but we are going to ride it for now. I weighed this tractor tonight with an estimated 1,200 kg cultivator behind it. With the cultivator up, 2,320 kg rests on the nose wheel and 7,420 kg on the rear axle. I then estimate that the empty tractor-without harrow and nose wheel-weighs about 8 tons. Tomorrow they are giving off a day of rain. Then I hope to delve into the I-monitor.
