Photo of a Valtra Valmet 700 It is a Valmet 700 and had nothing to do with Valtra because that was created later I have always liked something different and special. In the beginning I also had a special tractor as my profile picture, a Valmet 700 from the period 1968 - 1975. Tastes differ but I find it ugly but also very special, and it has always had my attention, all the more so because in my youth I saw one, and sat in it. There have been less than 10 in the Netherlands. For that time already a very complete tractor and far ahead of its time. The tractor already had side shift insulated factory cab 540/750/1000 rpm PTO fluid clutch and double clutch pedal side by side, one for PTO and one for driving. It is a Finnish tractor with of course a good heater.... I have been thinking about it for a long time and weighing everything what I want now and what is wise, but now I found a very nice one and couldn't resist buying it. It is a good basis, and can last for a while as it is now, and refurbishing it is also possible. I just don't know when I will refurbish it and at what pace. I am very happy with it and I will definitely keep you posted!
