Nice picture about life in a rural community like Essen. The farmer sees his chance with two days of nice weather to spread manure while he can. Two hikers who come to enjoy nature observe the activity and wisely step aside. I love living here! Despite everything I sometimes see, hear and read, I think that here, man, nature and agriculture are still beautifully intertwined. And now the real reason for the photo. During the drive back from the weekly errands I came to hang behind this span, as crazy as I am I followed it all the way to the field. You just don't see a 1990s combination like this on every street corner anymore! Anyway, I get pretty wild about these kind of combinations, so I really wanted to capture this beautiful combination on film. But alas, the farmer turned off into the path in the picture, in itself not so bad, but the fact that the path was not really accessible by car and that my daughter was still in the back seat it was not really the ideal time to go tractor spotting for half an hour. Shortly after that it started to rain, so I console myself with the thought that I wouldn't have been able to take nice pictures anyway. But I did add another one to my bucket list to do a reportage of someday!
