Photo of a New Holland T 6070. Started planting potatoes this week. Almost a month later than normal. Planting is done here in 1 pass with a front tiller and a spoon planter on a field where Nkg has been applied. The first crop is bulbs and after harvest the field is leveled because there was quite some height difference. Pieces of headland were also ploughed. After tilling, 35 tons of goat manure was applied and then a green manure mixture was sown. The green manure was left in place all winter, after which the potatoes were planted. In the background is the valtra with the bijlsma wagon to bring the potatoes to the field. Chips potatoes of the vr808 variety are planted here, which will probably be available in the supermarket in about a year in a Lays bag.
