With the predicted rain coming, we were anxious to get some fertilizer on our lawn. I was allowed to do it with the tractor, provided I solemnly promised not to drive tracks. You don't have to say that twice, so fished the double airstreams backwards out of the barn and reattached them to the tractor. And pulled the old fertilizer spreader from under the dust it had collected over the past 25 years. Just pumped up the tires, ran around it with the grease gun, tried to see if it worked, got some fertilizer and then had a good time!
