Every growing season some amount of rain comes along that the soil can't absorb fast enough and so you have to get rid of it as soon as possible. This is best done with a trench. We have this tiller with a neighbor. This tiller makes robust trenches; something that is badly needed on our soil. A narrow ditch does not have a long life with us. Last winter I made a rack for shear bolts on it. That way you always have them with you. For this purpose, among others, the 85 is equipped with creeper box. A hydraulic top bar would work even finer, but it is not on it.
