It is by now a familiar sight, Damsteegt with their Claas Jaguar on tracks and tracked dumper together with Heyns Heykants with their Vervaet Hydro Trike converted to tracked dumper defy the muddy fields of Brabant and Flanders! Last Friday they were also in the area but ij had no time, Saturday too but then it was pouring almost all day and when it became dry it did not take long before it was dark. Of course I was very disappointed! I would have loved to see them in action! A "once in a lot of years time"! Today I first got a message from a large agricultural company for which they have harvested many acres of corn in recent weeks that they would harvest corn today in Rijen and then Tilburg Noord. Unfortunately too far away! Butrr... just after noon, [@FerreV] sent a message. They would then be chopping in half an hour only 1 village away. This by order of Gebr. Vingerhoets who themselves were on site with a Fendt with Kurstjens cart and an Etec wheel crane to load the corn and bring it to the silage. The second tractor and wagon was from Heyns Heykants. It wasn't the best weather and didn't feel perfect either but braved the weather and biked to Biest-Houtakker. What a beautiful experience it was! 25-11-2023, Biest-Houtakker.
