Photo of a Valmet 855 in the Swedish snow. This afternoon I got this nice picture from my daughter, who is in Sweden for a week for her teacher training, Of course that made the old man happy 😀🤣. The other day we were talking about fluid couplings. Valmet/Valtra was the biggest manufacturer after Fendt, I think, to equip its tractors with such a clutch. In 1989 it started with the 755 and this 855,which had it as standard.(on the 05's it was not available). On the later 655(T) it was an option. The Valmet 8000 is the only 6 cylinder on which it is available. On all later models,the 6000series the N and C series it was available (option) on (almost) all types. The N 3 series (until 2021) was the last model where a fluid clutch was an option,after that it disappeared from the option list!
