Photo of a John Deere 5090M today busy with driving the last farmyard manure from storage to the field. I have to get creative again with my available tractors, because the 6420 is out again; head gasket leak. There was still about 2 large tippers of solid manure in storage that still had to go to the field. Loading the big tipper with this 5090 is only just possible. So that was not going to be him. Moreover, getting the entire tipper truck dirty for 2 cars was something else. So I hitched up this wagon again. It was included in the purchase of the farm but for the first 2.5 years it did not move. Now that we pruned a lot of branches around the fields this winter, it was an easy thing to drive home with the firewood. And today it got to do some real work once again.
