Photo of an Unknown Unknown, busy baling. A few months ago when I was looking on the internet for a mini - round baling machine I came across the brand Star with its mother company IHI (Ishikawajima Harima Industries ) ( also known from the mini excavators and Toshiba Group (Tokyo-Shibaura-Engineering ). These companies have their own agricultural machine line with the brand name: Star. I have found a lot of information regarding the balers, and then even posted on "tractorfan.nl" pictures with information about them. After some own insight and comments from some fellow TF'ers, with comments regarding the appearance of the baler and delivered work of the especially mini - round bale press, is that these bales were so terribly badly pressed and tied. The bale looked like a thin sausage and the tied product was really very poor. Did this not seem to be an option for me to purchase something like this over time, since this baler was still hefty in price and I would like to have something good value for my money. There are 2 versions of the baler, 1st option is a baler that uses a thin string to tie the mini - round bales together. The 2nd version is a baler that with net ties the bales. Slightly better than the 1st option but not much. Then I came across JAK Zeerijp's website and saw that they had recently purchased a mini - round baler with a round bale wrapper attached. This baler was not from the brand: Star. But of for me an unknown brand Wolagri. I then after a very short time found some information regarding this mini - round baler. The baler is of the brand Wolagri with the type Columbia R 500. With a pick-up feed of 83cm the baler requires about 15 hp, and needs 2x double-acting. Surely these Mini - round balers appealed to me with the reasons: 1: finish and construction of this baler. 2: cleanliness and bale density. 3: cost and (parts) delivery of the baler. The finish and construction of the baler is really done. There is lighting, the baler is nicely finished, there is a control box with beeper, the hydraulic system is in order. The press even has an input rotor with optional cutting blades. The baler is also equipped with a net system that neatly binds the bale. As for the cleanliness and baling density of the Wolagri mini - round baler is many times better than the Star mini - round baler. The bale is neatly tight and well rounded pressed together using a good feeding system. The round bale has a size of Ø 57cm x 60cm. As this press is made in Italy at the Wolagri Group ( part of the Tonutti Group ). The press is much cheaper than the Star press. The Wolagri press costs about 7500euro incl. VAT and then you pay no further import costs because this press is made in the EU and not in China. It also provides quick delivery of parts needed in case of breakdowns. The press is also available as a press-wrap combination. Long story haha but worth reading :D http://www.loonbedrijfmintjes.tk
