In 1989, Van De Voorde of Wippelgem (B) saw a new chopper appear in the field. The Claas SF 80 was pushed aside for one of the most popular forage harvesters in the Meetjesland. A lot of contractors worked with a Hesston 7730, popularly called a "Jumbo. Contractor Van De Voorde had, besides this Jumbo, a silage truck, also typical for the Meetjesland, and he also worked with Same tractors and Dewa silage wagons, which could be seen a lot.
