Schlüter E 7800 TV van MMaarten

Schlüter E 7800 TV | Picture made by MMaarten

With our old box this week we are at a contracting company from Baardegem, Belgium. The Van Mulders Family business was started in the 1950s by father Julien. Through the years, the classic works such as maize chopping, grass picking, slurry feeding, etc, were all added. In order to perform these works, they tested out different brands of tractors. In the photo series starting around the late 1950s-early 1960s, we see that not only Hanomag but also Steyr, Ford and even Schlüter were present on the farm. Of the Schlüter tractors there are few action photos, yet we found among all the old photos a rather unique picture of the 1993 working days, which were not held in Oudenaarde, but in Asse-Zellik. Van Mulders came to demonstrate their forage harvesting team, a John Deere forager and also the Schlüter E 7800 TV with a Dewa silage wagon. Who wants to see more pictures of this beautiful company, both old and contemporary can visit http://www.deoudedoos.be as well as http://www.landbouwenmachines.be respectively.
