Anyone who thought it's only modern combines that we photograph is wrong. During the summer months, we always look for a lot of old combines. Other years it was the Lely Dechentreiters, Massey Ferguson and Claysons that were popular for our camera, but this year it was this John Deere Lanz MD 18 S that stole the show. Built in 1962, this combine is by far the oldest one we saw at work this year. Farmer Saelens from Leke (B) has completely restored this 53-year-old machine down to its wooden interior!
