From the first moment I saw them, I was instantly in love. I love the rugged look, the bright sound and the bunker of this machine. We rarely find them anymore, yet we were lucky this year. We saw not only the Field Queen 7655 at the Oudenaarde working days, but also this FQ in Frasnes-lez-Couvin. We were even able to reconstruct part of the road the machines traveled. Should this machine be able to talk, it could probably speak French and Dutch. Originally, the machine was purchased by former contracting company Gobin from Wingene. Later, the machine went to farmer Vandekerckhove from Erquellines, a distant relative of Gobin. Small detail, this year we ended up with Vandekerckhove by chance, but we found the machine through a different route than Vandekerckhove's. Three years back, this machine was then bought up by soil and contracting firm TerraPro and used in contracting operations along with another unique chopper, which will be on display later this month at http://www.deoudedoos.be ;)
