Der 8 Zylinder Profi Trac! This tractor in the picture is one of 4 Schlüter Profi Trac 2200TVLs with Schlüter 8 cylinder turbo engine. 4 built, but this one has number 005? Now where did they start counting again? I know that the first tractor was scrapped. That was a demo tractor from the factory, but during its transport on the flatbed trailer in Austria, got into an accident. The cave-in caused the flatbed trailer to go on its side, damaging the tractor to such an extent that Schlüter decided to scrap it. Of the 4, 2 were also built with a very remarkable front hitch, which I did see once on a Super 2000TVL. One of them was then running in the 80s at Boer Anloo (or something like that) in the Netherlands (they then had 2 Schlüters, the other being a Super 2000TVL, from the Baureihe 2002). This 2200 later came via De Kam Agri from Rottum to a collector near Munich, who also had a Profi Trac 2500VL and the only Compact 750V4 busy. Then you have this one in the picture, which is also in collection, next to a rare Super Trac 1800TVL, Super 2000TVL, Super 1250V and Euro Trac 2000LS, among others. And then the other one with front hitch sits in France. That tractor was later partly painted white (engine, transmission, cab and rims). How this tractor is currently doing is still a mystery. I was able to take this photo before the tractor drove towards Nordhorn.
