september 25, 2016 Oostwinkel, the first ' Oldtimer maize harvest day ' in Belgium My only pictures of for me personally the surely most beautiful unloading combination of that day, a Landini R 8000 with self-built silage wagon Unfortunately, as a photographer myself, I was not able to take any pictures, but there was a simple reason for that Davy Tandt and myself (from Landbouw en Machines.be) were then the driving forces and organizers of this harvest day With a 12 oldtimer corn harvesters, both carried, pulled and self-propelled, we had a nice turnout. Also, the haulers, some 11 piece were all oldtimers, ranging from manure trucks to real silage trucks Furthermore, the silage was also on the field and one could also check it out, along with the Ford County and a Schlüter 1250 Special on it with associated implements To top it off, there was also a real tillage demo, including cultivators and plows with quite impressive vintage and youngtimer tractors As many as 1700 visitors from all corners of the country and even abroad, could enjoy all that spectacle.
