40km/h gearboxes were still on the options list in the early 1980s, at least if there were brands that already offered it. Schlüter was one of them (in addition to Fendt). With Schlüter you could also see this in the appearance. The tractors had higher tires (16.9R38 or 18.4R38) and therefore higher rear fenders. This is one of them.
