Besser wie ein Fabriksneue! The 1970s were "booming business" for Schlüter. At that time, they built an explosion of new series and types. The Compact and the Profi Trac saw the light of day in the early 1970s. Even the Super series could not lag behind, after introducing the Super 1500TVL with Schlüter 6 cylinder Turbo engine, the demand for even larger tractors came from Yugoslavia. Schlüter committed not only to the Profi Trac's, but also to even larger Super's. In addition to a further developed Super 1500V, which came on the market in the form of a Super 2000V and TV, further experiments were conducted with the 8 cylinder engine. Indeed, from 2 Prototypes, christened Super 1800V and Super 1800TVL, the well-known Super 2000TVLs were developed, not from the 2000V and TV, which possessed a completely different transmission. Both 1800s had an 8 cylinder in-line engine, one with turbo, the other without From the 2 prototypes, the Baureihe 2001 took the transmission and engine, but also received a new dashboard and the then so-called "Silence Cab". So the first series 2000s still had a fixed cab, and not the well-known hydraulic tipping version. The shifting was also still done with the 2 levers next to the dashboard, just like the other Schlüters at that time. This one in the picture is number 023, of the 34 2001's ever built. Indeed, well over half of this series went to Yugoslavia as Super E9500TV. In 76, the 2000 also got the tilting cab, and the baureihe 2002, which you do see appearing a bit more often on TF, came into being. And the Super 1800TVL? That came out as its smaller brother in '82 with a Schlüter 6 cylinder turbo engine and Intercooler, joining the program.
