Kramer Allrad van Kramer U800

Kramer Allrad | Picture made by Kramer U800

Photo of a Kramer UF 1000, After the success with the U800 from 1959 to 1965, steps were taken to build a successor. This became the Kramer UF 900, like Kramer's earlier zug machines this one was developed entirely in-house from gearbox to two (four) wheel driven portal axles. The UF 900 was built from 1965 to 1965 in only 6 examplars with an air-cooled Deutz F6L712 engine boosted to 90 hp and 2800 rpm After a construction stop, a new design was continued in 1967 to 1971, this became the UF 1000, again completely self-developed but with a more powerful engine and a very wide range of options. The engine was first a Deutz F6L812D (direct injection) and later a F6L912 due to the construction time of Deutz. The vehicles were of course manufactured by hand, and everything could be ordered as desired, such as: double cabin, adjustable body (3 sides), sweeper, snowplow, winch, crane, nothing was too crazy! This design did have success and a total of 69 were made. At the same time, the UF 1001 and UF 1003 were made but never reached large numbers. The UF 1003 had 6 wheel drive and at the end of its construction period received the Deutz BF6L912 with turbocharger After 1980 Kramer stopped building tractors and zug machines and from 1987 Kramer started to focus entirely on making shovels and telescopic loaders and now make large numbers.
