Photo of a Case IH Magnum 335, seeding corn in Canada 2013/2014. Seeding gebeide with a Case 1240 pivot. This seeder sowed the corn at 37.5cm. It was then thought that this would give more yield what eventually proved not to be so It was a very heavy seeder which, when you lifted it on the headland, got all its weight on 4 round airplane tires which caused enormous rutting on the headland In front of the Magnum we had 2 1000L drums for liquid phosphate which was added to the seed as a starter This seeder could also do rapeseed with some adjustments. Also here the machine did not live up to the expectations. The extra costs did not outweigh the benefits.
