Schlüter Compact 850 | Picture made by Schluterfan

Ohne Allrad! You rarely see them, with such a large (and yet again small) loft, and without front wheel drive! Ever since Schlüter offered his tractor with all-wheel drive ('64), this was a very popular option when purchasing, especially with the heavier tractors. Partly because Schlüter started to specialize more in heavy tractors from then on, and therefore the front-wheel drive wheels were indispensable. With the introduction of the Compact in the early 70s, the share of 2-wheel drive tractors increased slightly, but not to the extent that more of them were sold than front-wheel drive versions. It is striking that in the leaflets that were released at that time, there were never no Schlüters to be seen in the then already quite rare 2wd version. The further in the 70s, the fewer 2WD's were sold. Schlüter soon saw 4wd as the new standard. And with tipping cabin, you see them very little in it. The one in the picture is one. Exactly how many are made is a question mark...
